Hello!
My name is Jenifer Hecht and I have been teaching English at multiple levels for 22 years. I have taught AP level 11th grade, 9th grade literacy, Creative Writing, 1st grade literacy and art, and SAT classes over the years, but my favorite classes to teach are the Chinese students, like you. I love teaching classic novels and discussing all different viewpoints on them. In addition to teaching and reading, I love cooking, baking, exercising, and visiting the beach.  I have two small children and a puppy, so I am quite busy, but I am grateful for all of it. Looking forward to insightful discussions on amazing books with you!

My name is Melissa Landrum, I am a certified K-6 teacher with 17 years teaching experience.  I spent the first 12 years in the public school classroom in the United States and the last five years tutoring, teaching  small groups and online reading classes both in the US and in China!  I love teaching, reading and spending my freetime outside hiking and traveling with my family and two dogs.  I look forward to sharing some of my very favorite books with you.

Hi! My name is Maureen Digby and I have been an educator for 26 years. I am certified as an elementary school teacher and a reading specialist for grades K-12. My first years as a teacher were spent in the classroom then I was lucky enough to move into the role of reading specialist and literacy coach (my true passions). I even taught for a semester at the college level! 
After my son was born, I stayed home to raise him and his sister. I have worked as a tutor over the years and began substitute teaching about 6 years ago. In addition to this, I enjoy teaching online reading courses for students like you who live in China. 
I have recently started teaching yoga to children—such fun! In my free time I love reading, being at the beach and spending time with my family playing games, watching our favorite shows and traveling together. I am very excited to share some of my favorite books and authors with you this year. See you soon!
